Jake over the course of a season dont you think this is too many plays per day? not a knock, just a question..

SSI, I totally understand what you are saying and it's something I've been asked a few times in the past. The reason I have so many plays is not due to my forcing anything, it's just I have a certain amount of value assessed to each side/total, and if the value crosses a certain threshold, I make it a play. Some days, I have none or one play, some days, like today for instance, I see that value in many plays. I really don't know what to do to narrow it down any. I can't just get rid of half of them to bring my total number of plays down because I view them all as very even as far as value is concerned. Maybe as time goes on in the season I'll get a better understanding of NHL value, but as of now I view all those plays as having a bettable value assessed to them, so I gotta go with em. If anyone has any suggestions for me, feel free, but I just can't differentiate between these plays today as far as value goes.

your games look pretty solid tonight but that doesnt mean anything,, 1 of them (the cal/clb over) scares me, laying that many odds (-1.30).. im not speaking of just tonight, im speaking of over the long haul,, ive been around a good while and i can see guys that will make and guys that wont make it, hoping you will be one of the one's that makes it,, last night's nba games for you should be a good example, there is nothing for certain in this.. One thing you may want to consider and ive heard you say that you play most games for same amount,,, is when your on a hot streak play more games, and if your cold play only a few.. i bet all my games for the same by the way, right now its $100.. call it 1 unit or whatever,, i have no idea how much you call 1 unit but id be interested in hearing it.. do you play all your picks?

Just got home, believe it or not. Picks might be a little later tommorow considering I won't wake up till afternoon.

5-2 + 3 or so Units.

I'll try and get my record added up tommorow. I really mean it, even though stuff has been coming up lately.

SSI, I really don't like the idea of playing more games when I am on a hot streak. If I play the same value all year, I feel I'll come out ahead. And hot streaks aren't really hot streaks exactly. Just because you reel off 10 in a row doesn't mean you suddenly have the game figured out. It's just a streak of luck that can just as easily turn into bad luck the next night. Nice call on the Calgary/Columbus over not hitting. I should have known Calgary and over don't work too well together. 1 Unit for me is small. That's all you need to know. Smaller than yours for sure. Good luck in the future, and feel free to help me out along the way if you think I'm making a mistake.

Jake all my best to you,, im only a $100 player, i look at this more as investing than gambling, i believe a guy her also does that.. the size of the play is not important to me, i wish you the best, just watch laying too much wood..
